Hej,
Jag har varit i kontakt med ett tyskt par som gärna vill komma och spela årets upplaga av Chairmans Cup. Deras problem är att vingen fått förhinder och de söker därför lagkamrater.

De två spelare vi talar om heter Richard Bley och Michael Tomski. Intresserade kontaktar direkt richard.bley@gmx.de. Då jag gissar att alla kanske inte känner till vilka de är kommer här en liten presentation:

”We are both in our 50’s and have been good friends since our school days. We also learned bridge together back then.
In the last two years we have reactivated our partnership and this year we have become 3rd in the German 1st Bundesliga. At least once a week we play BBO and we are a well-rehearsed and ambitious pair.

Still in 2018 and 2019 we finished 4th and 3rd - in the same team but with different partners - in the German Bridge Trophy (the most prestigious international tournament in Germany).

Richard is an EBL/WBF tournament director and was NPC of the German Women’s National Team in Salsomaggiore 2022. Michael played internationally for Germany in the 90’s.

We both live in or near Düsseldorf and are just not able to play bridge as much as we might like because of our professional involvement. But at least we are approaching our ideal.

Important for us in bridge is not only the success, but also the atmosphere in partnership and team. 10 years ago Richard already had the opportunity to play in Örebro and is still enthusiastic about the atmosphere, the organization and the playing strength of this tournament.
